Receiving this recognition by our employees is so meaningful and vital because it reflects all the effort we’ve put in to create a stand-out workplace culture in an ever-changing remote world. Zenhub achieved a 94% average Trust Index© Score from our team members. The Trust Index© is based on the Great Place to Work® Trust Model©, which defines a great workplace as one where “employees trust the people they work for, have pride in the work they do, and enjoy the people with whom they work.”
When I joined as CEO three years ago, my ultimate goal was to make Zenhub a place where people loved coming to work, our team felt that their work was impactful and meaningful, and they could see the difference they were making in the success of our business. We’ve put a lot of effort into making that a reality.
An important part of that effort has been our focus on hiring the right people. Creating a great place to work is really all about the individuals who are part of the team. We’ve dedicated ourselves to hiring talented and passionate people who want to do their best work, and creating an inclusive environment where they can do just that.
We knew it was important to foster a rewarding workplace culture to attract the right people. The team experience at Zenhub has been a top priority. For us, that has meant focusing on clarity and transparency. Clarity about our goals — where we are going in our market and how everyone can contribute to helping us get there. And clarity about our values and holding ourselves and each other accountable for living those values. And, of course, transparency with all our employees about the good and the challenges we face along the way.
Another important part of our efforts to create a great place to work is our commitment to invest in and create a best-in-class remote workplace. Before the pandemic, we were hybrid and remote-friendly. Now, Zenhub is proudly a remote-first workplace with team members around the world. To provide the best experience possible, we look at every aspect of our business from a remote standpoint. Our hiring, onboarding, and management processes support and enhance the remote experience. Our teams are designed to accommodate people from across the globe with the best talent and skills.
We also make sure to create opportunities for fun and connection in our remote workplace by having events like expensed new hire lunches for new team members to meet everyone, online activities like cooking classes taught by our very own team members, and much more. We firmly believe that people will be happier and more productive at work if they have the flexibility to work where they focus best and have more time back in their day to spend with family and on what’s important to them.
